Howdy y'all!

I'm Timski Elwell, and I've been skateboarding for about six years. I picked up my first real Downhill Setup when I was in my twenties and went to my first Outlaw Race not long after. Needless to say, I was hooked. Since then I've picked up other styles of skating, mostly because of the amount of cool things to skate out here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Most notable being our super rad ditches!

My favorite thing to skate would definitely be hybrid-skating on big Double Kicks. Whether it be slashing up and shredding Albuquerque ditch features, freeriding down some sweet runs, bombing some foothills, or hitting rad city spots with my friends, it takes all of the aspects I love about skateboarding, and puts them into one combination of All-Around Awesome. I love downhill skateboarding as well. It's probably one of the most therapeutic things I have ever come across. I often refer to it as "mountain therapy" and absolutely nothing compares to it. Not to mention racing, which is always a ton of fun!

Skateboarding has been very influential to me, and appears in many facets of my life. I work at a skateshop called Skate City Supply out here in ABQ, and I help run a local longboarding/skateboarding community called Duke City Bombers. A good amount of my friends are skateboarders of all different types. I can attribute that to a lot of them as well, because they helped me to get my start, showed me the ropes, and still support me to this day. Big shout out to my local homies Chris Cade, James Tracey, James West, Jory Boone and Eric J. Martinez for showing me what's up!

Also, I do have hobbies/interests other than skateboarding. I love to play music, check out live music performances, I am on a comedy podcast, snowboard in the winter, and I love camping & outdoorsy things. All of these things just complement each other much too well, so that works out really well for me. It keeps me happy and adventurous.
