APS Bushings 0.4" - Short Street

So I previously wrote a 3 star review because the 97a bushings ripped after a couple sessions. However, after chatting with Brad, he suggested going with a top street barrel with a flat washer rather than the standard ones the trucks normally come with (thunders). The suggestion was perfect and there are no issues.

Just a heads up for anyone that wants tight pushing. The 97a are very hard, I weigh about 225-230 pounds and have no problem with them. 10/10 would recommend

Update 7/22 - Omg you guys will not believe the lengths Brad went to to fix my issue. So it turns out landyachtz sent me an old truck model that didn't fit the current specs. Brad worked with me to contact them, get that issue fixed and now everything fits perfectly. I can't recommend Riptide enough and I will for sure get more bushings from them.

7/1 - Updating my review to 5 stars because Brad reached out to me directly to fix this. It seems the polar bear 130mm trucks may have updated to a new supplier or something because these fit in the past, but doesn't anymore. I bought the polar bear trucks on June 12 in case anyone else gets polar bear trucks after that date and wants to use these bushings.

Initial review - The 0.4 street bushings don't fit in the polar bear 130mm trucks even though it said it would. I reached out to riptide and they ignored me.

Ever since I swapped out my stock bushings, my landyachtz dinghy pumps and carves like a dream. I'm running Cannons b/s and street barrels r/s. Great return to center, and rebound.

I bought this for my Dinghy Classic that came with Bear Polar trucks. It fit perfectly and has a nice smooth feel to it that allows me to turn and carve much easier than the stock bushings. It comes with washers but I opted to use the stock ones and they work just fine Recommend!

These are the first APS cones that I have tried. They have great response for carving and returning to center. I found that the 85a were too soft, as I was getting wheel bite. So, I will try 90a next, along with a higher durometer KranK barrel.

The best bushings. Enough said.

Wanted a stable board because stock bushings was too soft. Products was really good for my liking. Awesome products.

I am 6’1” and 200 pounds and these are the best feeling bushings I have ever used. I love how they turn and I feel like I have better response on my flip tricks and pinched grinds. I’ll be using RipTide bushings and pivot cups in all future truck setups.

These are some of my favorite bushings. I'm running these along with the APS street barrels in my Paris v3. The extra width of the canons helps the trucks feel just a little more precise at higher speeds.
