Roller Skate - 5065 Series (8 Pack)

I used these in my Riedell darts. The factory skate bushings were pretty much an inflexible plastic with no movement.

I added these 78a bushings to my skates and they definitely softened my movement and allowed me to take better control of the skates. Although the 78a are a little too soft for my build, they are excellent bushings!

I was fortunate enough to be a part of the R&D of this bushing size. When disassembling and measuring the stock components of the "Marvel" plates, I was SHOCKED by 2 things:
1. The plates really fit together well! The truck and kingpin geometry was a perfect match! Adjustable toe stops! Why are all of the skaters at my home rink so eternally dissatisfied with these?
2. The bushings. That's why. The stock bushings are nothing but hard, plastic spacers. There is no adjustment. They deform quickly(and permanently). The skate simply WILL NOT do "skate things" with the stock bushings in place.

The Marvel plate uses a bit of an odd bushing size on the heelside of the plate, and until now, there were no aftermarket options. In fact, I couldn't even located a STOCK replacement option? When Jeremy agreed to manufacture bushings specific to the Marvel plate, I already had more than a few test candidates in mind at my local rink. A skater with bad knees indicated that "she would now be able to skate the whole session without her knees hurting". "This completely changes everything", she said. I started her out on this WFB formula in the 78a duro. I also have an APS 75a for here to try/compare, but she won't let me remove these from her skates.

If you are a Marvel plate owner, this IS the solution that you have been looking for. But the best part is, it's more than just a solution to a problem. It's the beginning of a journey.
