Found myself occasionally putting my foot too far back on a drop through board, rubbing my wheels. I tried the old bushing and a washer trick, but it wasn’t tall, didn’t look great, and was a stopgap solution. This doorstop has been perfect, and even helps me dig in for smooth slides. Plus, it matches my trucks perfectly, and looks fantastic!

Simple footstop works better for me than more complicated ones. Allows me and my more narrow foot to move freely with a solid small pointy feeling point of reference.

I put this on my rain board, a 27 inch Penny Nickel deck with a flat nose and no grip tape. Now I can do little stand up slides and speed checks and feel locked in between the footstop and the tail. Should have done this long before.

Comes with hardware for a 7ply and is really easy to install. It might fit a larger deck but I haven't tried it on one yet. Very versatile, it's a good way to get your feet wet with footstops because it's less specific than others and you can use it on any of the front bolts on your deck to hone in how you like it. Bought two one for my oldest and one for myself. The colors are dope too. The purple is especially cool. The purple is a dark, looks almost black until you get it in the sun, which is how the family likes it. Will buy straight from Riptides again 100%.
