KranK Bushings 0.6" - Longboard

I use the the.6 krank bushings in my 70s CalSlalom wides as a bottom barrel bushing, provides stability while I load a .5 barrel on the roadside. Great product from RipTide. Thank you guys. Rob

I emailed this company on a Holiday and a human responded, wait it was the owner of the company answering a question of mine. I emailed in on the weekend to see if I could get an answer Monday when they came into work, absolutely heroic of attitude. All I can say is, this is a specialized company that cares about its customer and willing to reach out to help. The Krank 96A Very Hard Barrel bushing / black / seem to be to hard but I look forward in getting more than a 1k' ride on them. Fyi they did suggest to do use flat washer-which I have not and will. I will order the 93A Hard barrel bushing soon. My height is 5'-10" and 203 lbs for reference.

I ordered the Krank bushings 0. 6" barrels 90a for my longboard. They were exactly what I was looking for. My board now turns quick and with ease. No wheel bite whatsoever. Big thanks to Brad Miller for his recommendation on what type of bushings I should order based on the kind of ride I was looking for, height and weight. Riptide definitely has a new loyal customer. Riptide Bushings have a reputation that precedes them as being the best in the game. My experience is this is true…not only in the product just somehow being of much higher quality and noticeable performance, but in their exceptional and very personable way of guiding you into the right bushing combo. Thank’s Brad & Tracy…the Krank Barrels have me Shreddin’ like a Crack Head on my new N1 lol!

I have an Acedeck N3, and Brad told me to use the Krank Barrel bushings, which not only improved the carving of the board, but provided more stability and allowed me to increase the speed without getting speed wobbles. How can it be that a bushing can give you better turning and carving, the trucks feel much looser, but you gain more stability and speed, well Riptide has it all dialed in! All Riptide bushings are excellent, but particularly their cones in comparison to other brands. All the turn and lean you could want, but with a better supportive shape.

The 96a Fat Cones coupled with 96a Chubbies made the most of my Boardnamic 220mm trucks .

Found this company on a complete whim a couple of years ago and wouldn't choose anyone else for bushings and other hardware needs. I started using the . 5" FatCone on my Independent Trucks and really liked them and how they rode. So much so that I ordered a second set of fat cones for different set of Indy trucks. Out of personal preference I stick to the Wine Red and its designated dura rating. Another thing I've come to appreciate from riptide are their pivot cups which fit perfectly depending on the brand of truck used (Independent and Ace are the ones I've bought and have definitely resolved any squeaking encountered). For my recent cruiser setup I used ace classic trucks, and since I was running riser pads and prefer my trucks a bit tighter, I went with the . 6" longboard bushing. I also want to add with my first purchase I thought for some reason I would need small cup washers and bought them just in case. To describe said setup, I'm using the large flat washer at the base, followed by the fat cone bushing, then the truck, then the original white ace bushing, and the small cup washer it came with. The ace truck came with a large cup washer at the base and a barrel bushing which i didn't really seem to like. Regarding how the fat cone rode from personal experience, I found it was easier to keep my board centered with where I wanted to push and loved how divey it felt. After riding for a week, I noticed the original ace bushing would partially stick out of the washer and didn't want to deal with that part getting cut off due to wear. I went home and found the small cup washers I bought a while back and realized they were deeper then that of the cup washers that came with the Independent and Ace Trucks. Like they're the same size as far as their diameter but were just noticeably larger. After installing the new washers I couldn't help but feel like it was the cherry on top or the perfect end the this particular setup. The original bushings fit like a glove inside the washer and no longer had that issue where it would protrude. I just want to thank everyone on the Riptide team for their amazing customer service, prompt shipping, and amazing products.

I've got a landyachtz tugboat and I wanted to put on some larger wheels but was worried about wheel bite. I'm also a heavy rider(230lbs). Brad gave me a very specific recommendation and helped me with all my questions. Going to outfit all my boards with these products! I'm still tuning the bushings, but I like the way they feel.
