Pivot Cups - Caliber 2 Common

I bought these for my board over 6 years ago and have hundreds of hours and miles with no sight of wear, just caked dirt. They have a metallic coating, showing they seem to be more wear resistant than the trucks themselves.
Many cheap boards have pivot cups that fall apart after time, but it seems these will outlast the trucks themselves. I recommend riptide to anyone who needs new pivot cups, and that they might as well throw in some good bushings for a noticeably better ride.

I was skeptical for a long while, but I'm glad I finally made the purchase. I decided to upgrade the bushings on my DIY eSkate with Caliber 2 trucks because I had to crank the Venom bushings down too hard to feel stable. These pivot cups make the ride feel smooth and the turns feel buttery. Swapping the Venom cone for a Riptide cannon roadside allowed me to loosen the trucks for a more carvey feel while maintaining the same stability at higher speeds. Just perfect!

The hype is real! Just purchased and installed pivot cups on both my Boosted boards and all I can say is WoW! Going to get some for my other boards here eventually. :call_me_hand:

The pivot cups changed my cast trucks drastically. The feeling,of the trucks went from boarding and dull to being very sharp and precise. . . I didn't even know I wanted responsive trucks until I got these, do not mistake response for instablity. . . Do not these took me some effort to actually put them in it takes some effort, but totally worth it, no need for tools when you insert them either I just used my fingers. Really excellent pivot cups.

Well my first electric skateboard only went straight. Not good when you need to turn or want to carve. Installed riptide bushings and cups and now I have control. Couldn't be more happy.

Pivot cups were one of those things I would only replace when I had to, but RipTide made me realize how much of an upgrade they could be. My Kodiaks, Caliber 3s, and Indys all have a new life and near precision smooth turns. An easy choice every time.

I didn't realize how soft the stock pivot cups were until I pulled them out and compared them to the Riptides. The harder durometer along with the self lubricating formula made for a much smoother pivot.

I can't recommend this upgrade enough to anyone thinking about it.
