Pivot Cups - Randal Common

Found an old pair of Randall II 50 degree 180 trucks on eBay and snatched them up. I have Randall's on my first two skateboards and love them!

The pivot cups on the Randall's were wallowed out so I immediately went to RipTide to get new ones.

As usual they were super helpful and shipped them out the same day I ordered them. They arrived sooner than expected and I immediately switched them out.

The new pivot cups improved the ride of my Randall's which I put on my re-issue of the Gordon and Smith Fibreflex Pintail.

I was getting poor performance even after installing aftermarket cushions, so I replaced the stock cups on Bear 852 with Riptide- Far superior performance.

It's already impressive that someone bothers making parts for old trucks like this, but that they also fit this well is something else.

The board I bought these for is the first ever board I bought as a teenager with my own money made from summer work. It is just so fresh that in this modern world there is still someone making it possible for old c***s like me to service and ride old gear. I know there are probably a dozen technically better trucks nowadays than these old flippy 180 grizzlies, but if you really just like riding something on a personal level because you lived with it your whole life, there is no replacement. Companies like Riptide are a godsend, never change!

I've had a couple boards for almost 10 years and they got babied pretty good but my original front pivot cup crumbled away. I had a struggle trying to find the right size, then I stumbled upon riptide and their vast array of options on just pivot cups. My 9two5 is back up and carving smooth. I run my dog everyday along side me she appreciates the bearing lube wet weather for smoother sailing too.

I ordered some pivot cups for my vintage Tracker Darts. I am blown away at how much of a difference they have made. Absolutely worth every penny. Riptide even included a really sweet hand written note with my order. This company is awesome!

Happy to find pivot cups for my older Bear trucks. Installation was easy and the board now handles like new!!! Highly recommend!

Riptide pivot cups fit perfectly and have great feedback when riding. I have Riptide cups in all my boards.

The cups fit perfectly in my Tracker Dart 184's! They are softer than the original plastic cups that come with the trucks - and I was a bit concerned with how they would perform, as I primarily ride bowls/pools/vert (I'm not a longboard cruiser) - the proof is in the pictures (they're great)! I've had them installed for two sessions; so far so good. Regarding how long they will last: only time will tell with that. I'm going to order another set of cups for my other board! Also, the peeps at Riptide are cool, had a couple email exchanges with them!

Installed these pivot cups on some 90’s Tracker B-2 trucks I had lying around, fitment was perfect and the difference was night and day. Definitely adding these to my other setups in the future.

Bought the tracker RTS & Dart pivot cops for my 1980’s sixtracks they fit perfectly!Rides like new again! Thanks again!could not find cup for 40 year old trucks anywhere!

The order got to me super quick the randle pivot cups are a little snug for my pivot of the baseplate but they are well made and will be a huge improvement over the original.

These are awesome, I can feel the smoothness of the urethane when I turn. I've never upgraded stock pivot cups before, and they definitely make a positive difference!

I turned a “garage sale special” into the best version of itself with new bushings and pivots. These duros make your ride better than stock, and are always an upgrade.
