Pivot Cups - Paris V2 Common

Amazing the only place that carries high quality polyurthane pivot cups every where else is just regular cheap plastic or whatever they use

On my second set of pivot cups for Rey trucks. Recently got into Reys and so so sooooo thankful that RipTide always has me covered. Got a chance to ride rhe Reys with old and new pivots. Absolute difference. RipTide always smacks!

Put these on two pairs of Carver CXs, you can notice the smoothness in carves immediately. Can’t recommend enough. Fantastic customer service, couldn’t recommend enough.

I got the 90A Krank’s and Pivot cups for my Grasp Trucks. Big difference! I’ve also been using riptide bushings in my YOW for a while now. Always my first upgrade in any setup and worth it every time.

Just received my pivot cups and bushings from RipTide Sports. They were so helpful in helping me pick the right bushing for my style of riding on the used Loaded Tan Tien I picked up. The bushings really give is a smooth carving ride and the pivot cups also help smooth out the ride.

Bushings are great, the extra lube in the WFB bushings keeps the trucks quiet

I ordered these last week and got them in about 3 days which was the expected time. They are back ups so I have yet to use them but I trust riptide as a company. I'm glad they still make old truck pivot cups because lite reys are my thing.

It all started with pivot cups… I got a Koastal Drifter with Gullwing Charger 1’s on it. As soon as I got it I took it to the road, pushed off and when I put both feet up it wobbled wildly and threw me. An 89a duro cone/cone setup was not meant for someone over 200 lbs, so I ordered some other popular bushings in barrel/barrel, which were better but still not perfect. Then I started thinking, if the bushings were unsuitable the pivot cup probably is too, so I started researching pivot cups. I was very impressed with the amount of fieldwork Riptide had done in this area, so I decided to try some of their bushings in APS barrel/barrel too. Wow. Just wow. Huge difference. WAY better feel than the other popular bushings, so I ordered a selection of shapes and sizes duros and formulas to experiment with.
I tried the Fatcones on the bottom and they are amazing. They act like the barrels, but have this wonderful, confidence-inspiring support that kicks in during turning. On back, I’m running an APS Fatcone on the bottom with the large washer, and an APS barrel on top with an Array sleeved washer and cup washer. On the front, I’m running a WFB Fatcone with the large washer on the bottom, and a WFB Cone with a cup washer on the top. This setup works really well for me. It is very solid in the back with a really fun swimmy feel up front without sacrificing stability. I found it to be much more responsive than the same setup with APS all around. Everyone’s gotta find that sweet spot. At any rate, I’m sold! I don’t see any reason to look further for my urethane, as I have a lot of combinations to explore. I also got some Gullwing Sidewinder II's and some Paris V2's, so now I'm gonna have to get a selection of the street series and Paris specific bushings now too
